CRM Upgrade for Multinational Manufacturer

LIEBHERR’s Crane Hire Division has a custom CRM application developed in house. The application was programmed using ASP, Net Webforms and SQL. The original developer of the application moved on from the project, meaning that there was an absence of ongoing support. A lack of solid architecture, ongoing issues, new requirements and outdated technology meant that the application required a full redevelopment.
Genolis team was approached to entirely redevelop the application while preserving some key functionalities of the old system. The main goals of redevelopment were to:
Modernise and refresh the layout of the application
- Introduce market requirements for Liebherr’s New Zealand operation
- Offer price simulation
- Version control and expiration of the offers
- Introduce workflows, alerts and automation
- Increase reporting capabilities and document generation
- Improve system administration
- Integration with other system in the business
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the CRM
Solution
Working closer with Sales and IT personnel at Liebherr, Genolis was able to design, develop, test and deploy new CRM system within six months. The new system gradually replaced the old CRM ensuring continuity and minimal business disruption. User training and user documentation was also provided to ensure smooth user adoption of the application.
As always Genolis is continuing to provide ongoing support and development of the new CRM. The latest version was released in 2024 further enhancing functionality.
The developed system become an envy of other departments within Liebherr, and we hope it will be adopted by other departments within the business soon.
